I bought some Airport Extreme. I have installed the last one but I found a problem. I don't find the Guest Network setting tab in the airport utility. I try with my macbookpro OS Mountain Lion and with the ios app, all updated.

Is your Extreme in bridge mode? If so, you can't use the guest network functionality.
No it isn't..
And It is the only wireless network.
In my office, for example, all work fine but I don't understand why in my house not!
Which version of the Extreme do you have? Look for a number like Axxxx on the base of the Extreme.

OK, then I would return the Extreme as faulty.
Use the Airport Utility 5.6. I had the same problem and lost a day. The setting seems to become available in there. I could not see my Guest Network either and neither was I in Bridge Mode. Numbingly frustrating. I could not install this version of the Airport Utility in my OSX 10.7.5 without using a software tool called 'Pacficist.' But once in, and it is only opening the package so you can drag the App to your harddrive, it worked fine. Thanks Apple for an incredibly time consuming and frustrating experience.
The most recent Airport Utility 6.2 does not support WDS, nor enable one to set the 'Allow Network to be extended' option, and drops other important functionality.
Guest networks are available in 6.2. I agree that 5.6 is more featureful but I think the Extreme is faulty.

I tried to reset and the guest network setting is appeared. After insert the setting (ip, subnet, gateway, wifi name and protection, dhcp) the network setting tab is disappeared again. Or the airport is faulty or my settings don't allow this feature. I'll try to insert the setting step by step and I'll let you know.
I am sorry to say I have the same issue. Guest setting was there at one time. Now non showing!
I hate for a guest to use my primary network. Wonder if Apple reads these to resolve issues.
And hopefully the resolve if in written form is explained enought that a novice like me can do it
without messing up my primary.
Dear Chris, I'll make some test at the next weekend; Maybe it isn't faulty (and I hope!) I think that there are some setting that disabled the guest network option. I did some research and many people have a similar issue. I'll say you something soon
got the same problem, there is no posibility to install a guest network. extreme is not in bridge mode, firmware 7.6.3. i also can't install a 2.4Ghz AND a 5Ghz network at the same time or do i miss something how to set that up?
The guest network options tab, appears only if "Connection Sharing" option is set as "Share a public IP address"
It is a very strange restriction!
