Q: Airplay Mirroring doesn't display, will work for onboard video?
Late 2010 Macbook Air (OS X 10.8.2);
Apple TV (5.1.1);
iTunes (11.0.2)
Firewall off.
Airplay Mirroring does not display in menu bar. Mirroring will work for music video on Macbook, but nothing that has to stream in (iCloud, YouTube).
Is there a way to make it work for streaming media?
Is there a way to display the screen for presentation purposes?

Your machine doesn't support "Mirroring" (displaying whatever is seen on your computer to your Apple TV).
Your machine does support "Airplay" (playback of videos and music via iTunes to your Apple TV).
