Q: What is the maximum memory that can be installed on a While Unibody Macbook Late 2009?

As I stated I want to know the maximum memory that can be installed on a While Unibody Macbook Late 2009. I currenlty have 4 GB Crucial RAM installed by me and I want to upgrade it to 8 GB.

Existing Memory: 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.1), Lion

Officially, the Late 2009 MacBook supports 4 GB of memory, but it supports 8 GB without any problem. You can buy the memory in OWC or Crucial.

No, 8GB is what it is listed as being able to support. The more RAM you have the better. I always try to max out what I can get in the system as it helps the computer with everything. Not having enough RAM is bad and cause lots of problems.
