What is the maximum memory that can be installed on a While Unibody Macbook Late 2009?

As I stated I want to know the maximum memory that can be installed on a While Unibody Macbook Late 2009. I currenlty have 4 GB Crucial RAM installed by me and I want to upgrade it to 8 GB.


Existing Memory: 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.1), Lion

Officially, the Late 2009 MacBook supports 4 GB of memory, but it supports 8 GB without any problem. You can buy the memory in OWC or Crucial.
