Making your own Manga iBook EPUB? Possible?

Hi, As most of you know already, Apple recently published an update to iBooks adding Manga and others to the Japanese store...

If any of you are like me, I download a lot of Manga from Mangafox or similar services before they are officially translated into english...

I have well over 500 manga collections on my computer and Ive tried countless times to convert them to a PDF or EPUB but every time I get a white boarder around the images and the books always go from left to right... And now, the Manga you can download in the iBooks store are full pages and go from right to left. Here is a screen shot of a free Manga in iBooks

So what I want to know is... Does anyone know how to or can think of a way to make a Manga EPUB similar to the way Apple have done them?
