what's missing from FCP X trial version?

Hi, I'm using the Final Cut Pro x trial version at the moment and notice a lot of things missing when following an instruction book I have. Is this due to it being the trial version?

Some things have changed with the software updates in the later versions; basically, your instruction book is 'slightly' out of date.

The only thing missing in the trial version is the Additional Content. That is all of the extra sound effects, music beds, etc.
