Unable to create new shared photo stream in iPhoto?

There's no pop up menu giving me the option to create a new sharable Photo Stream. According to the Help files, you create a new shared stream by:

(a) selecting photos

(b) menu bar > Share > Photo Stream

(c) selecting New Photo Stream from the resulting pop up menu

When I click Share > Photo Stream, it simply puts the selected shots into my main (private) stream.

If I repeat the process, it tells me the shot is already in my Photo Stream.

How can I get iPhoto to realize I'm trying to create a new stream for sharing purposes? :::urgh:::

Awwww, crud. Didn't realize until digging a bit deeper that you have to be running Mountain Lion to access shared Photo Streams. Sadly, Paperless (the abysmal app by Mariner to store and track receipts) is holding me hostage. Might have to partition the SSD, then bump the main partition up to ML.

If only I could find a substitute for Paperless, my world would be happy. :::sigh:::
