Q: there is a lag between my new macbook pro retina and apple tv 3 generation

I got an all new macbook pro retina 13" and an new apple tv, and when i mirroring the mbp screen to the apple tv with airplay there is a large amount of lag.

how do i fix this?

    I would troubleshoot what part of your network is the bottleneck

    it require a good network to transfer live hd stream from the mac to the atv

    a network with a wifi channel being the same as many others in the area or

    running on 54Mbit or being interfered by other devices on the 2.4Ghz such as dect phone and microwaves

    could all cause the problem
