Q: Problem with AirPlay logo

if it's ipad1g then it does not support airplay mirror

I'm having same problem I have ipad 2 also. Someone help :/

I use this feature many times a week at home and at work... one thing to check is to see if your Apple TV and your iPad (gen 2+) are on the same wifi network. AirPlay only works when the devices are connected to the same network. You may also want to check to make sure that AirPlay is turned on on your Apple TV. If this still is not solving your issue, I would then look to your network settings, not all networks will support such sharing features.

Is it iPad up to date? Which Apple TV do you have, is it up to date? Is airplay enabled? Are you able to use basic airplay? On top of ensuring that both are on the same network you may want to check firewalls and any other security plus router.
