Share GarageBand project

Is it possible to share a project with another user? (Not the same iTunes account)

You can share an audio file of your song with your friend, but to share a GarageBand Project you would both need a mac.

If you share your song to iTunes as a GarageBand project you can sync it to your Mac and copy the proect to your friend's mac. This way she/he can sync it again to their iPhone.

Yes, that is only possible by sharing to iTunes. That will sync a GarageBand Project to your Mac, not only a m4a, but as I said, you can only sync it to another mac, not directly to another iPhone.

A serious limitation in a classroom environment. Apple continues to view the iPad as an individual device. Other than the jam session, the huge potential of sharing work in a classrroom setting remains unrealized. Apple - my way or the highway. Sure, you can share files... all you need to do is buy one mac per student AND 1 iOS device per student.
