sir i have in stall x lite 3.0 in my macbook ,and i am using mountain lion
is that x lite is suported in macbook ,mountain lion
x-lite 5 is NOT supported

If x-lite 5 is not compatible, I doubt that x-lite 3 would be.

sir i em doing a job and my all work depend on x-lite so plz tell me the way out
The only way out would be to wipe your drive and re-install the OS that it was working with, or to install the old OS on another drive. Note that if your MacBook shipped with Lion or Mountain Lion you may not be able to revert any further. Best choice would be to use your old Mac, if that's the case and you still have it.

Hello everyone,
I use X-Lite on a Mac to use our Swyx PBX. Also I am the second level support for our Mac users. I found 2 solutions on common problems with X-Lite in the last days that cost me a lot of time. Sharing is caring:
1) I solved many audio issues such as "partner cant hear me" and "i cant hear the partner" and "no audio at all" by selecting X-Lite's Preferences -> Codecs -> "Accept the first codec offered..." .
2) 2 Users had issues dialing outside. As it seems, its possible to ruin the dial plan in the X-Lite gui, which makes it impossible to call several numbers or even every number. One of my users got "Call Failed" on dialing on random numbers. We tried to fix this on the X-Lite GUI, but no success. This did the trick:
-> Close X-Lite
-> Open Terminal
-> Type: rm -rf Library/Preferences/CounterPath\ Corporation/
-> Hit Enter
WARNING: This removes every usersprecific X-Lite/Counterpath preferences for the logged in Unix-User.
X-Lite is restored to a "fresh installed" state. Just start X-Lite type in your pbx ip/hostname, username and password and you are done. Avoid to klick the "dial plan" preferences. ;-)
This knowledge would have saved me a lot of time, hopefully this post saves some other admins time.
