Multi Performer input to Mainstage

Greets on the Board, first time here, and blatantly new to Mainstage but lookin forward to what looks to be an incredible app!

Is there a straightforward way to create a Concert in which one performer addresses a split key bass/pad (which I have already successfully set up) while a second performer inputs lead lines fx etc from, in this case, a midi guitar? What's the best way to do this?

Thanks ahead for any guidance.

There are many ways to organise the setup to do what you want. A basic method would be:

In Layout mode create 2 keyboard screen controls (or MIDI activity... does the same thing without taking up so much space) and assign them to the correct incoming MIDI devices. Name them for clarityy in the next step (Keyboard, MIDI GTR)

In Edit mode, create a Patch with your "Split", but make sure that all channel strips involved are set to have the Keyboard as MIDI input (select the Channel strip and choose the MIDI Input Tab in the Inspector)

In the same Patch, create channel strips for the MIDI GTR part, select them and make sure that they have the correct MIDI input (MIDI GTR) selected.

The real challenge is to decide how best to organise the whole Concert!
