my ipad will not boot any program. The message says initialization error. How can I fix that?

My ipad has stopped booting up on any program. It has a message that says "initialization error". What can I do to fix this? Please , please! Can anyone help me? My ipad is new. I have had it since January. It is the new model.

iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 6.1.2, Using wifi, not cellular

I would try a basic reset, hold the power button and home button until you see the apple then let go. See if this helps.

If the reset doesn't work, try downloading another app on the iPad. Any free app will work. See if that lets the other apps start properly.
