Audio from Track 1 good but not Track 2. How to fix?

I have dialog between two people. One recorded on a Boom, and the other recorded on a lavalier microphone both going into the same receiver. The problem I am having now is that When listening to subject one Track one sounds crisp and clear in the left ear of my earphones, but in the right ear she sounds like she is in a tunnel. And for subject two it the same problem but the complete opposite earphone sides.

What I am thinking can be a solution is splitting deleting the track that is bad for each subject and making the good track a MONO. Is there any way to do this? Or maybe a better way to fix my problem?

Here is a link to what the audio sounds like:

Hopefully you recorded this material as Dual Mono.

From what you posted - each track is good for the speaker directly targeted - Yes?

If so, this is how it should be. Pan the tracks to center and cut between them to isolate the good audio for each speaker.
