iphone 5 (6.1.2) not syncing with iTunes

hi i recently upgraded the software on my iphone 5 to 6.1.2 .


after that i tried syncing with my itunes and it comes up with

'an unknown error occurred (-50) ' help please!

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.2
