I can't transfer apps I downloaded from iTunes to my iPhone. It does sync, but after the "Determining apps to sync" it just stops. I don't know what to do. Tried transferring songs and ebooks and etc and it worked well, only the apps won't transfer. Can you guys help me? Thanks.

Try again with your anti-virus and firewall OFF.
It did not work. Immediately stops after the "Determining Apps to Sync" part. 😟
trying resetting sync history (edit>preferences> devices located towards bottom).
Were they downloaded/purchased on the computer or device?
Are you using the same Apple ID as the apps?
Are the apps for iPad?
Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data
I was having a lot of trouble on how to transfer apps from iTunes to iPhone.
I tried doing backups and full syncs to no avail. Finally, in a moment of desperation, I righted clicked on my iPhone and chose the option “Transfer Purchases” and to my suprise and glee I successfully moved my applications onto to my computer.
To transfer applictions to iTunes from your iPhone:
Right click on your iPhone in the left hand explorer bar.
Select “Transfer Purchases”.
You should see a progress bar in iTunes and your phone should read “Sync in Progress”，everything went as planned, all of your applications that were purchased on your iPhone should now appear in iTunes. iPhone Transfer can also help you solved this problem.
