its weird... the mac callender has all my calenders, whilst the ICloud calender has lost them all... therefor my ipad no longer shows them.

Make sure Calendars are enabled on your iPad. If necessary log out of iCloud on your iPad and then log back in. See if that will jump start the calendars.

On your Mac, are these calendars under iCloud, or On My Mac?
the subscribed ones are on the Mac calendar.... however when you look at the calendar list on the mac they have all of these under the heading ICloud
i have a number of subscribed calanders that have worked perfectly well on Icoud till now, now suddenly they have disappeared?
