I have a 2 year old IPad 2, still on iOS 4.3.3, and recently Safari has started to crash, or won't open at all. Yesterday app store and iTunes were doing same. Today, managed to open them, but mail has started to crash! I've tried resetting (shutting down), cleared Cache and cookies, and no difference. I know it's not my Internet connection as my sky fire browser works fine. Can anyone advise please?

Try totally shutting down the app by double clicking on the home button then holding you finger on the app for 3 sec until you see the red minus sign then tap the minus sign. Then restart you iPad by holding down the on/off and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo.
Thanks Eric, tried that. I can open mail app now, but it crashes again when I try to open a particular email. Its not a dodgy one, as it's just a payment confirmation from pay pal. I just tried to open the email off my windows laptop, and that works fine. the problem seems to be with iOS and my iPad
