Can someone please help with this. Thanks. I have tried to find drivers but none are availble on the Canon site.

Do you have iPhoto installed? If you do, you can set it to recognize the camera. iPhoto / Preferences / General
This is what it looks like in OS 10.8.2. The key is the line "Connecting camera opens:" There may be other Applications listed as well, depending on what is installed.
To my knowledge this works with any camera.
