I've tried to install several times to no avail. What do I need to do to get the software to install? I believe the download is only service pack 1.

I already have Office for Mac 2008 installed - I shouldn't have to uninstall it first should I?

Quite possibly. Check with Microsoft for instructions.
Since this is a download from Microsoft what haven't you contacted them? Seems to me for what one has to pay for Office thet if I were having trouble installing it I would contact them.
OS X 10.7.5 - Office for Mac 20011 download won't install.
