iCloud keeps sending acceptance messages to the event owner for recurring events. How do I turn this off!

My partner sends me recurring invites for our kids extra murals and other family events.

I accept them in iCal.

Then every event gets an e-mail from iCloud saying that I have accepted this event. Sometimes 4 events a day. This is contributing to a clogging of her mailbox. How do I turn it off? Couldn't find it in iCal or iCloud.
