Creating Passbook Tickets from emails

Hi,

We currently use paper tickets for entry into our venue and would like to add the option for them to use Passbook.

Some online tickets are emailed to customers and then these can be scanned. Is there anyway that this email could contain a link to place a ticket into Passbook?

Or will I need to create an Application just for ticketing?

I hope someone can help and let me know if this is even possible...

Thank you

Josh

See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5483.

"

  • Mail or Messages: Passes can be sent as attachments or links via email or Messages, and you can add them to Passbook by tapping or clicking on them. Example: An email confirming your flight could include your boarding pass as a Passbook-enabled attachment.
  • Web browser: Websites or webmail can also include passes as attachments or links. You can click or tap these links to add them to Passbook"
