macOS Sequoia is now available
I tried to play a movie on my computer last night, something I've done before, and it can't read the disc. Just spits it back out. Tried w/another disc, same result. Checked the hardware (as per instructions)...doesn't list any ATA or PCI cards. DVD player is selected in 'CDs & DVDs'.
Now what?

Thanks, Karen, I did try cleaning it last night to no avail. But your suggestion also had a link for how to reset the NVRAM, so I tried that. Which didn't work, either, but at least it was another thing to try. 🙂
