Itunes 11.0.2 won't sync iphone(iOS 6.1.2) or ipod(iOS 5.1.1)

Ditto here with my 4S. Haven't been able to sync over WiFi for a few months either.

Same issue here, started this week. Also affecting my Ipad 2, 6.1.2

I also could not sync music after updating to iTunes 11.0.2. Today I lost a few hours of my life fixing it, but in my case the fix was banal and annoying. In Itunes>Preferences>Devices there is a box "Prevents iPods, iPhones, and iPads fro syncing automatically". I unchecked it and all is well. I am sure that I did not check the box in the first place, so it must be a default or the result of importing settings when updating.

Having the same problem, no music is being added to my iPhone 5. Only had this since recent update. Apple please fix

I can't backup either. My last backup was 3/8/13. I am able to backup my ipad 2 and ipod classic, but not my iphone 4s. I tried other computers and following the troubleshoot here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2529 but no luck so far.

Try turning WiFi-sync off and on, this helped me with a similar issue.

I am having the same issue and have even tried connecting my iphone to my macbook with the cable not just via wifi and I can't transfer any songs.

iTunes freezes everytime I plug my iPod in and it tries to synch.

I clicked on "On This Ipod" at the top of iTunes where it says songs, albums, etc.... and then clicked autofill, and then i finally was able to get the music in my itunes library on my ipod.... after restoring it and syncing it with no success multiple times....

Restore the device to factory settings and then either set up as new or set up using an old backup. Then let it sync all the memory back and then back up.

Same problem. I had version 6.1.2 on both devices, iPad 3 and iPhone 3GS and they was always being seen by iTunes. Updated iTunes to 11.0.2 and now both devices can't be seen by iTunes. I also tried to upgrade iPhone to 6.1.3, but nothing, still no wi-fi recognizing.

This worked for me!

I have also had the same problem. As soon as we get to updating the music, ITunes disconnects from my iPhone or my iPad. I was so sick of dealing with this because this has gone on now for months for me and it started after an update as well. I decided to restore my latest backups figuring that if I start over then the issue will disappear. ITunes tells my that both my iPad and iPhone are corrupt and that is why I cannot sync properly. That's bull, I ran a diagnostics test and everything was 'fine'. So when I went to restore my iPad and iPhone 4s, I discovered that both of my backups were also corrupt. Nice Apple, real nice.
