Mar 11, 2013 3:26 PM in response to Mrs. Eby Skydiver119,★HelpfulFor movie files to be seen, they do need to be MP4 files - which the iPad will play.
On your card, make a folder named DCIM
Edit your movie files to have a file name of 8 characters.....Mov12345.mp4 for example
Put those movie files into the DCIM folder
put that card in the reader and your photo app should open. You cannot see the name of the files. nor can you preview them from the card. The only way to view them is to import them, watch and then delete...so you have to make sure you have enough free space on your harddrive.
