So I downloaded IOS 6.1.2 on my Ipad and now it won't let me do some multitask gestures. I can only get pull up the bottom menu, i can't pinch to close an app nor can I swipe the screen to move to the previous app. Any ideas about what is going on? is it the software?

It might just take a little practice. When you pinch the screen, that takes you back to the home screen.
I use all four fingers and my thumb to pinch an get back to the home screen. It takes a pretty strong swipe to fo from app to app and use all four fingers in order to get it to work
The thing is before I downloaded IOS 6.1.2 i could do all the gestures. i usally used the pinch to get back to the home screen instead of using the home button.
OK. Then you do know how to do the gestures, just like to make sure.
Try this. Turn off Multitasking gestures in the settings, reboot the iPad, turn Multitasking gestures on again and see if they will work for you then.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Hey guys i tried to switch multitasking off then reboot my iPad and then turn multi back on and it doesn't make any difference! Still cannot play youtube in the background at all!
I have iPad 3 with ios 6.1.3
It is really annoying that basically you can only do one thing on it at the same time...
Anyone can help me please???????
