bought an iphone 5 from craigslist and it was stolen, some one from apple please help me.

I took it to the cops and gave them the info i had of the person whom i bought the phone from. Today they called and said if the person doesnt answer they cant do anything. im 17 year old kid and i paid 480 for the iphone. if anyone from apple is reading this im begging you please please help me out it wont hurt just to help me one time. im begging please thats a lot of money please.

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.2

We are all iphone users just like you.

Apple cannot do anything at all. What is it that you think they could do?
