How to combine calendars

I have calendars for each of my staff on iCal, but TWO for me -- same name, same color. Argh. Can I combine them into one and do away with the other?

Many TIA,
Hector

Hector,

1. Use the iCal>Backup Database... command to create a safety net.

2. Combine your two duplicates into a new "Group" Calendar (iCal>File>New Calendar Group) and drag them into the Group.

3. Export the new Group Calendar (iCal>File>Export as Calendar.

4. Delete the Group Calendar you just created, and your two duplicate Calendars.

5. Restart iCal.

6. Import the Group Calendar that was created in step 3 (iCal>File>Import...)

7. If you have any problems use the iCal>Revert to Database Backup...command.

ZOWIE!

What a great recipe! Thanks so much. I'm going to go cook up a new and improved iCal!

Best regards,
