Q: Auto Download

Hello friends

I have another question about my Air.

Is there a way I can download images from my camera withot using iPhoto?

I'd like to be able to import all the images, the Raw & the jpegs

When I connect the camera it does not show in the Finder and I either used Photoshop or iPhoto for the import. However iPhoto does not support the Raw images.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

If your camera is compatible, you can use your Image Capture application.  For more info, launch the app and then use the Image Capture > Help menu command.

Use your Mac's  > Software Update... menu command to verify that you have the latest OS X and iPhoto software.  Many popular camera RAW formats are supported in the latest version.

If you still have trouble, check http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4757 for camera compatibility.  If your camera is not supported by Apple, perhaps your camera brand (or even Adobe) offers OS X compatible software that can convert your camera's proprietary RAW format to a file type that you can use.
