Switched to US store to try to download a book on my iPad that is not available on UK store and now cannot change back.

Change App Store
1. Tap "Settings"
2. Tap "iTunes & App Stores"
3.Tap "View Apple ID"
4. Enter your user name and password.
5. Tap "Country/Region."
6. Tap "Change Country/Region"
7. Select the region where you will be located.
8. Tap "Done".
What you leave out of your explanation though is that in addition to entering username and password, even for something as simple as changing the location of Apple store, you have to provide credit information. In my case I got switched to the UK store - and now can't return to the Canadian store - while trying to download a so-called free App from BBC radio. Very underhanded and cynical treatment from Apple Inc. if you ask me. One should only offer up credit info if and when they're ready to make a purchase.
Thanks. I selected settings on ipad, then iTune and App stores. from there I clicked on my Apple ID and re entered my password. Account now reset to UK store.

Had the same problem. Followed another advise: scroll to the bottom of iTunes; bottom left is the apple ID; touch it & sign out; sign back in again and you are back to the original store.
