Developers Account-OTHER, iOS 6.1.2
Hi everyone,
I just got from Individual apple developer program migrated to my company account. I am putting my experience here in case its helpful for others.
They didn't ask for any documents and I didn't have to pay again as I just migration my individual account to company.
So to sum it up, I think it better to call the support if you don't here from them in 2, 3 days.
Hope that helps
Good Luck
I have finally been able to activate my Apple developer company account. I am posting all dates. Hope it could benifit other's who are waiting.
12th June 2013 - Applied for enrollment into IOS Developer Program - Company
19th June 2013 - Status changed to "contacting the reference"
24th June 2013 - I called up the Apple developer support (UK) and the lady told me they have sent a mail asking me to contact them. I never got that mail (I would suggest that you call up the support if you have been waiting for a while). They never asked me to fax any documents and she sent me a contract in mail.
Everything was smooth and quick from this point onwards. I accepted the contract and paid for the membership. There was no waiting time anywhere and I was able to access my developer account and resources.
So you applied for the Enterprise program or the standard individual program?

If the enterprise program, do you have all the things you need (DUNS number and such)?
Sorry, guess I got confused between the 2 choices 😝
I have applied for enrollment under "IOS Developer Program - Company" so that I will be able to distribute the apps via app store.

I managed to get through to an apple representative after about 8 minutes, then they basically acccepted my applicaiton there and then. I'm glad I rang up in the end!
Agree with E-Advising LTDA! I Enrolled a company developer account yesterday and called today. They processed me on the phone in 5 minutes and now I'm done in a day.
YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY CALL THEM ASAP!

Cheers!
Hi GlobalTele, I have been waiting nearly since 48 hours now. I am sure your's is already through. Could you please let me know how long did it take ? I have applied to enroll a company account.
Thanks
Thanks for replying guys 🙂
One more thing, did you get a call or email from apple for verification during these 4 days ?
If you could please describe briefly how identity verification processe was then it would help me and others as a guideline.
Thanks
My enrollment status changed yesterday (19th June 2013) to
We are contacting the reference you provided to verify that you have the authority to act on behalf of your company/organization and to enter your company/organization into legal agreements.
I am yet to receive any communication from Apple 😐

Did you try contacting whomever in your company has to approve the enrollment? When applying for a company account, Apple cannot/willnot proceed further until they receive proper legal authority from someone in your company with the legal authority to approve the membership. You will not hear from Apple until Apple hears back from your company's officer.
Thanks for replying Michael 🙂
I am the founder and Director of my company. It's a limited company (Tyche Games Ltd.) and I am yet to employ anyone else. So in this case I have legal authority and Apple will be contacting me.
Do you think that I should contact Apple instead ?
But, according to the enterprise program FAQ, enterprise members cannot distribute their apps in the app store. The enterprise program is for companies developing apps for in house distribution only.
So are you sure you do not want the standard program, which does include the ability to distribute apps via the Apple app store?
So even if enrolling as a company, not an individual, if you want to distribute your apps outside of your own company, you will want the standard enrollment, not enterprise?
You may want to call them and make sure you are enrolling in the program you really want, and/or change if necessary. There is a "contact us" link in the FAQ I posted the URL for above.
Yes, me too. I'm still waiting for weeks now. I didn't contact Apple yet, but I'm about to call them. Perhaps they are very busy with all the enrollements after weeks of downtime due the hacking of the Developer program this summer.
After reading some of these posts, I decided to call Developer support in case I mssed an email or something. My application was stuck in the "identity verification" stage. I did not miss anything, but the guy who answered, said "let me check on something and I should be able to move this to the next step now." In other words, I think that if I hadn't called, I may have been waiting indefinitely. I had started my application 4 days ago.
We applied August 17th and still waiting!
It moved to 'contacting reference' last Friday
Called 3 times over this period with the reply of 'we dont know'
I had to present to thousands of people at the O2 arena with nothing but slides and pictures...... what a result apple lol
