Q: it won't disconnect   it says connected but is not showing up under devices in ITunes

I Pod is not showing up under devices in ITunes...it is connected to my MacBook Pro and it says connected ...but it is frozen...

iPod nano, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

    I'm not a Mac user, but do one of the following:

    > Restart your mac.

    > uninstall & reinstall iTunes

    > reset your iPod (if possible)

    > make sure iTunes is up to date.

     

    This is what I really know, I don't use a mac. If this doesn't help, then sorry.

    Keeferaf's suggestions are fine, but definitely reset your ipod before trying anything else. If it's 5th gen. or earlier, just switch the hold button on and off, then press the menu and hold buttons till the Apple logo appears.
