All of a sudden my Mac tool bar changes from grey to blue when I open any application. When I close the APP, the color returns to grey.
I have never seen this before.
Any preferance I can use to disable this process? Anybody also have this happen to them?

Is it the toolbar or is the whole screen shifting in tint? Look at the whole screen carefully and be specific.
Also: Is it truly EVERY application, or just with a few specific applications (i.e. graphics-dependent ones)?
You are right. When I open an app, the tool bar and browser becomes blue; when I quit app it goes back to grey.
I just tried apps. mail, etc fine. Adobe products, apple numbers, pages all give blue when open.
OK. There have been previous threads here about this happening when the system switches from the Intel onboard GPU to the NVIDIA GPU. The color switches. It seems to happen intermittantly... if you put the system to sleep for a while, or reboot, it's liable to stop happening for a while.
It might be worth sending feedback to Apple for this, as it's likely a driver bug that we can't really assist with here...
I just restarted my mac. solved problem. all the adobe programs open in grey. Must be something to do with graphics card.
