Can my messages be transferred when I do back up to my I phone to a normal laptop?
Can I transfer my text messages through backing up. My I phone to a normal laptop or PC? Or only from apple device to another apple device?

Messages are included in an iPhone backup, but they are not viewable without the use of third-party software to extract them from your backup.
