Q: new hard drive...os?

I have an old M8570 and the hard drive went bad. I have no back up... I put in a new(old blank) one but where can i get os? thanks

Reinstall OS X from your original System Install DVD.

If you no longer have it, contact Apple for a replacement. You will need your Power Macintosh's serial number. They will charge a nominal fee.

Restore Tiger 10.4 & Leopard 10.5 DVDs are available from Apple by calling 800-767-2775 as of January 20, 2013.
