I have iworks I purchased for my Mac mini and would like to share this license with my macbook air. How can I do this?

It all depends on how you bought iWork (no 's') in the first place. If you bought the apps individually from the Mac App Store you can download them again on any Mac running at least 10.7.4 you have with the same Apple ID. If you bought a family pack retail box, use the disk to intall on the MacBook Air.
