can not apply plugins

Hello!

I'm new to Final Cut Pro X. I've been messing around with iMovie but the plugins for FCP really got me excited. However when I'm trying to add them I get red screen with the triangle and plugins are not added. When i untick the plugin the original video plays back nice.

Default FCP effects also work but not lihe likes by CrumplePop or Pixel Film..

anyideas?

Running a MacBook Pro i5 2.3 ghz with 8 gigs of ram and Final Cut Pro 1.0.5.
