I am helping a friend with his IPAD and he wants to uninstall the youtube app but there isn't any way to do that. its a os5.1 and it doesn't even show the youtube in app list when I hold down the icon and it jiggles it doesn't have the X in the corner to click on.

The youtube app is part of the iOS in that version, it can't be removed.
In iOS 5.1.1 the youTube app is one of the built-in apps and cannot be removed.
Goto settings>general>restrictions>enable restrictions> set passcode don't 4get it then turn off the you tube app it doesn't delete it but it prevent it from going on your screen.
how do I uninstall youtube on the IPAD os5.1?
