Changing iMessages Account Region

Hi,

If I've set up my new iPod's iMessages account to be in the United States but then I'm living overseas in China, how could I change it back so that I can iMessage to local iPhones with Chiense phone numbers? I just want to change the iMessages region.

Can anyone help me out here? Thanks!

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5), 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB RAM

What location is associated with the Apple ID that you use in Settings>Messages>Send and Receive?

Never mind, I found out how to do it. For the sake of anyone else who might also have this problem, you hit your Apple ID and then select the "change location" option. This is all in the Messages part of settings.
