The light on my I-Pod Shuffle (4th Gen) does not come on at all when it's charged or being charged and the battery seems to die out quickly even when it's showing as fully charged when connected to I-Tunes.

My son's Shuffle initiated the registration process. We got past the point where we were asked if we wanted to sync or manually update. We chose manually update. At the bottom of the screen a bar came up as if the machine was attempting to sync with Itunes. We hit Done in the upper right and now the Shuffle is not rercognized by iTunes or the PC. All other IPhones, iTouches and IPads are recognized.
