thank you for your reply. After trying all kinds of online websites w/o much success, it turned out to be such a simple problem to resolve, when I called the Apple Support line. All it needed on the print menu, was the following
PAGES, Print Menu, Layout, Duplex Printing+Margin, check Duplex Printing and all was well. Inga
