How do I fix the following 403 forbidden error message?

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I've been accessing the site for weeks to watch episodes of a tv series, so not sure how I lost permission and I haven't tried to do anything except watch an episode at a time online. Did a google search which says it can be corrected by finding htaccess files and changing those, not sure how to do that and if it would even work.

This issue can only be properly addressed by someone on the server's end; the htaccess files referred to are on the servers. Contact the site's webmaster instead of looking for help here.

It appears that the site is having problems, but nobody here can be any more specific. Since the index page is itself offline, only those who already know how to contact them can assist further; they may already be aware of the problem.
