Hi, All.
I am trying to find a way to block GIFs and other animated content in Safari. Many sites feature these animations and they cause Safari and even my system to slow down to a stop sometimes.
Is there a way (plug-in, extension, ...) to stop these from loading so that Safari can continue to function normally ?
Any help will be appreciated.

I have tried this extension but it doesn't appear to have worked for me. The animated GIFs and other animated files continue to load.
Is there anything else I need to do ? I am not sure if I re-started Safari after I activated extensions. Is this something I need to do (I usually don't have extensions turned on. I turned it on in order to install and activate deanimator but don't remember if I re-started Safari) ?

I have sensory issues and I really need a browser with the tools to block ALL animation ALL the time. Even support websites for Safari and Firefox are full of painful animation.
