How do I stop a movie from downloading permanently???

How do I stop a movie from downloading when I only want to store it in the cloud? I can't seem to stop the download process, and it takes forever. Deleting it from the download page doesn't work, it just starts up again and won't go away! It seems like the only option is to let it download and then delete it, but this takes forever and bogs down my internet connection. It's driving me nuts. Ideas??
