How much USB space do I need for bootcamp?
I previously used bootcamp with a 512MB USB and bootcamp said that I don't have enought room. Can someone help me and tell me how much I need?
MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

What is the macOS version? Is the USB formatted as a FAT partition?
Disconnect all external storage including the USB, run SMC/NVRAM Reset and re-run BCA. Do not connect any external storage, till Windows is fully installed.
I have a 16GB USB and when I try to run boot camp it says it is too small. Any advice?
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
Boot Camp drivers take 600 MB at least, but this can increase depending on your computer. To store the Windows support software, you need a USB drive with 1 GB or more.
If you want to install Windows from a USB drive and you want to create the Windows installation drive onto the USB drive, you need a 8 GB USB drive or a bigger one
You are posting on a 4+ year old discussion. 😉
What is the year/model of your Mac and the version of Windows you want to install?
My mac is early 2014 and the windows software is 7 or higher.
sierra 10.13.2 and I think it is formatted when I run boot camp it say it formats then half way through it says not enough storage on disk
Where did you get the Windows ISO from?
I ran the steps from boot camp.
Did the BC Assistant download the Windows ISO or did you manually download it from Microsoft's Software Download page?
The BC assistant downloaded it.
Do you have three options/tasks in BC Assistant or just one screen. See Bootcamp User Interface for reference.
I get the third image.
Thank you for such quick response!
You are welcome
