Icloud mail slow or not working

Yes, I am having the same problem. It started yesterday and is still happening this morning. Attachments take forever to download and messages are very slow to appear (on my iPhone and iMac same issues). Internet speeds are not the problem. All other data loads normally.

It's UNREAL. It's happening AGAIN. For the 3rd time in as many weeks. Painfully slow email (if I can get it at all), and then when it shows up, cannot open any attachments, photos, documents. Nothing.

iCloud is the WORST.

And this is the reason that you see the Apple slowly shriveling & dying on the tree, while Google and Samsung are starting to fly high. I NEVER have problems with my Gmail. Ever.

I've always been an Apple lover and cheerleader -- but in the past year I've started thinking about ditching my iPhone & Macbook. Too many problems like this. And, of course, the Apple/iCloud "system status" always says that everything is just FINE....

LOL.

This is the second time this month that I've noticed a huge problem sending and receiving email from Apple Mail on my computer. For some reason the iPhone doesn't seem to have the same issues. I'm thinking of abandoning my 10 year old .mac email and moving over to Gmail. Agree that the Apple "system status" is utterly useless.

Still having serious problems - we can't be the only ones in the world with this issue, are we? Any way to get the word out?

I can't get in at all. I try to log in on my iphone but it doesn't accept me.

icloud is not working at all. it was slow this morning and now completely down.

I'm also experiencing the same issue.

I've had to reset my password 3 times in the last 3 days.

At first, I couldn't get my email. I sweated it out for 12 hours, reset my password and I was good to go again. 48 hours later, I ran into the same issue. Only problem is, not only do I get the 'Incorrect username or password' on my device, but my iCloud.com login no longer works. so now I can't read my messages on the web OR on my device/computer.

I have went to appleid.apple.com and reset my password there: no luck.

I have reset the settings on my device: no luck.

I have Erase and Installed iOS 6.1.2: no luck.

I have restored my device back to factory settings: no luck.

I have performed a DFU restore: no luck.

This is my main account for, well everything.

I'm having a horrible time on icloud.com from my work PC. SUPER slow!!! At home my Mac is fine when I access Mail, it's just the icloud...SUPER frustrating!!!

I've checked all over the net, and lots of people are having this problem, though no one seems to have the answer. My apple imail is VERY slow sending and receiving mail. (Way behind my android phone, which is synched with it.) The whirling circle whirls and much later than used to be the case, the mail finally DOES get sent.

From what I'm reading this problem gets worse, not better and may be related to synching or the address book. This is the error I log over and over and over: AddressBookSourceSync: [CardDAVPlugin-ERROR] -

Anyone see this on their console?

I'm having same problems since a few days. It's happening on all devices macbook, iphone and ipdad. My internet connection is excellent, but icloud mal is a catastrope

Same here and for days now. Having good UMTS speeds and a 320 Mbit/s internet fiber connection.... even though icloud mails and attachments are about 8-10 kbit/s......

Same problem, even before Yosemite, why apple is not helping?

How did you end up resolving this issue with slow Icloud Mail?
