Volume of midi notes
If I play a bunch of midi notes in a drum track, and I find that the volume is all over the place, is there a way to make them all the same volume?
iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.4)

No, GB doesn't have a feature like that. You can raise their velocity (not the same as volume) all by the same amount by selecting them all in the Editor window and using the velocity slider, but only until the loudest note hits the ceiling of 127.

Hmm...I tried that. I selected them all by dragging over them in Score view. They became green. I then moved the slider up to 127, but found that individual notes were still at 110, 96, etc.
I'll try it again and see what happens.
No. It didn't work. I wonder if there's something simple I'm not doing.
Read again what I wrote - if you drag the slider up to 127, only the loudest note gets that value, the other ones's velocity gets raised by the same amount, but will stay relatively softer.
