Fujitsu Scansnap 1300i does not show up.

I have a Fujitsu Scansnap s1300i scanner connected to my iMac via USB. The scanner works perfectly. However, it does not show up on the list of scanners connected to the computer. Does anyone know why, or how to correct this?

The reason for the request is that I would like to share it via my computer on the network, but because it doesn't show up this does not seem to work.

Thanks for any help.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

I'm not a ScanSnap user, but I believe that it won't show up in the list of scanners because Fujitsu doesn't use TWAIN software.

I'm not positive that there are not other ways to share it.

You can always scan from your Mac and save the scans to a shared folder.
