Cannot receive Yahoo emails, despite putting in correct password

Suddenly, iMac won't accept my password for Yahoo emails. I therefore cannot access my emails on my iMac. Why? I can access them on my iPad and iPhone however. Why is this happening? Have put in my password, but it won't accept it.
