Visitor: I have an iPad. My Samsung SCX-4729FW is connected to my wifi network via ethernet. how do I use airprint?

Visitor: this apple support site says this printer is compatible: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356

Sabrina: I see that the printer is not listed in the Supported models to use Air Print.

Sabrina: Yes, I see that in the Apple website it is shown that the Printer supports the Air Print functionality but as per the Samsung the model is not listed in the compatible models to use the Air Print.

Visitor: Please have Apple fix this. This could cause a lawsuit as I purchased this printer for that reason.

Sabrina: I apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Using apps that support AirPrint can not use the Samsung MobilePrint app at the same time.

I need to print from the Square Register App (and several other apps) that only support AirPrint.

The app searches for compatable AirPrint printers on the current WiFi network.

MobilePrint does not enable AirPrint. It is just another app on it's own...

If the app from which you need to print only supports AirPrint, you may need to purchase an AirPrint capable printer. Airprint is not something that can be added to the printer by a downloaded app.

ok, people... this post wast about removing the printer from the compatable list.

I am aware of the issues; it is not an AirPrint printer as this post says: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356

I just want that post edited.
