Q: I amm not familiar as to how I can connect my IPhone 5 with Samsung Printer CLP-310. I would appreciate your feed back. Many thanks. John

I have a Samsung CLP-310 printer connected to my desk top. I need to know if you could help me communicate with the printer by using my IPhone5.

iPhone 5, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

    If your desktop computer is a Mac then you can purchase AirPrint software such as Printopia. This will share the printer installed on the Mac to an iPhone and iPad.

    There are Apps which can be loaded to iPhone and let you print direct to the printer while on the same Wlan without a computer. I use one made by Brother and i have seen for HP and Canon. Not for any printer.

    You can search if there is one for your Samsung printer (I have not found).

    Anyway in my opinion it is more or less a joke. Since you need to be near the printer and on the same WiFi, why not send the file to your computer and print from it ?
